Frequently Asked Questions

What is involved in the planning process?

The planning process is where we discuss the goals and plans of the video project. Once the details are ironed out, I will type up a production proposal of the goals and objectives. When everything is agreed upon, I will provide a formal contract. Half of the budget will be required upon signing of the contract.

What is involved in the production process?

The production process is the actual video recording. Once all the details of the location and time have been ironed out, I will provide my video camera and other equipment to the specified location.

How long will the video take to be completed?

Depending on the complexity of the video project, expect the completion of the video within 3 to 7 business days or the scheduled date on the contract.

What is involved in the editing process?

This is where the editor takes the video footage and puts it together to make the story. It is during this process, that animation texts are created.

What are revisions?

It's rare to get the video project perfect on the first edit. After you screen your video, you will have a certain amount of revisions for me to make changes/additions to the video.

What if I need more revisions?

Once the project is complete, I offer a certain amount of revisions based off of the chosen package. An additional charge of $100/day will be implemented for additional changes or revisions.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

I understand life happens, but I will have to charge a 30% cancelling or rescheduling fee based on the agreed package.

How will I screen and receive my video?

Video edits will be shared via a private YouTube link only available through a private URL. Once you have approved the video, I will delete all of the previous edits and send you the .mp4 video file via Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer.com.

What will happen to all of the raw video files?

After completion of the project, I delete all files of the video project including the editing file after 7 business days except the final edited copy. If you would like all of the raw footage for your archive, an additional cost will be implemented for file transfer to a USB drive or delivered via a shared file transfer account. After 7 days, I will no longer have access to the original video or editing file if you decide to make additions or changes after completion of the project.
